We have a solstice with a fast flashing left hand inicators?? All bulbs changed & checked all ok, website says ECU in passenger seat well but no information, anyone else had this problem & how to reslove it otherwise its off the road.......

Usually a fast flashing bulb is caused by either front or rear burnt out. Are you sure you used the correct bulb and inserted it correctly, 3757A?

The other cause of a fast blinker is if one or more of the bulbs has been replaced with a LED bulb. If that is the case then a resister needs to be added to the bulb to simulate the load of the original incandescent bulb..

Thank you to both of you but correct bulbs & not leds, anymore ideas?

The BCM, not the ECM, senses resistance in the circuit. Have you checked the ground connections?

Where are the ground connections? All flashers & hazards work. Is there a separate earth to the left hand flashes?

I would also try to disconnect, then reconnect the electrical connectors on the BCM located under the passenger seat foot well. They have been known to corrode if moisture is allowed to sit down there and not cleaned up.
I would also spray some electrical cleaner on both ends of the connectors, and add some dielectric grease to them. You just don't know if the car was left out in the rain with the top down prior to your purchase. Wet connectors and add time can lead to corrosion.

How long have you owned the car? And what area are you in? We have a pretty national Solstice/Sky group so someone may be in your area willing to help.

Thank you, will investigate, Dorset area.
