Fiero 88 GT v.s. Grand Am GT1 2000

I have been having quite the debate with my friends for quite some time now. My friend owns a Pontiac Fiero 88GT with a 2.8L V6 engine. It is a rather speedy car. Lightweight, handles nicely. My Pontiac Grand Am GT1 2000 has a 3.4L V6 engine! Which car do u think would win in a race? The only reason why I am asking this question instead of proceeding with the race is because i want to know if its worth a race. Do you think the Grand Am will stay close with the Fiero or get smoked out! Thanks for the help! Just a question ive been curious about for a while now!
