Fiero headlight grinding

Hi All:

I have an '87 Fiero SE in great shape. However just today, the right headlight began to malfunction. It didn't raise as quickly as the left, and didn't close as quickly either (although it eventually did).

After closing, it continued to grind, as if the motor were still running, then finally stopped.

I am wondering what this indicates, and what the best option to repair is?

They sell a rebuild kit for the headlight motors. Comes with everything including a new gear which is what you need for the one not working correctly.
