Firebird/Camaro nose replacement?

i was thinking of getting a 1992 pontiac firebird from a neighboor, but the only problem i have is i don't like the way the bumper cover or nose looks. can i swap that one for a 1987-1990 nose. i like those ones a lot more. but is it possible without paying for anymore than the replacement nose?

Depending on what you want to change to you would also need to change the headlight assemblys as the 91-92 are different from the earlier models, the 91-92 were flush mounted while the earlier ones are indented down below the hood line on the 85-90 nose ..
also the bumper bracing and GFX are different for the two models and may not line up with the later model GFX and early nose...
the easiest way would be to swap the whole front end from a earlier car fenders, hood, nose GFX and all ..
so I guess the answer to your question would be NO you will not be able to do it for the cost of just the Nose...
