Firebird MPG??

I might be getting a Pontiac Firebird for my sixteenth birthday..

I'm wondering about MPG.. (Highway miles.)
And other information...
(i.e. is it a good car? For a teenager is it a good car? ect)

Help me out??

Depending on what engine you can expect around 26-28 MPG out of the automatic V/6 cars .. a couple more MPG out of the 5 speed cars with a good tune ..
It may NOT be the best choice for a teenager, with rear wheel drive and a fairly heavy car there are better cars out there for a teen with better MPG and driveability in adverse conditions ...depending on where you live that is , sunny southern california would not be as bad as northern michigan...
