• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi all. My brother and I are rebuilding a 69 400. He had new pistons installed, but neglected to mark the cylinder positions of the rods upon removal. Is this going to pose a problem. Thanks in advance.

No , your fine as long as the same rod caps are on the same correct rods, thats the only reason people mark them.

The only problem would be if its a high rpm race motor and the whole assembly is a balanced unit.
