first built

so i have the first built aztek, 97k ish miles, but my engine blew on the way to st. louis a couple months ago. i still have it and have no desire to sell it, but what’s the best way to get it running again? rebuild it or engine swap it? i feel like rebuilding it wouldn’t do me much good, but i also don’t know what engine would be the best to swap it out. i’ve heard i can swap with a 2010 impala that has the v8 but i’m worried that’d be super expensive.

Least expensive would be a used 3.4 engine.

You say its the first Aztek off the assembly line? Of course rebuild it, its number matching....worth alot of money down the road..
