• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello all.

My name is Ryan, and I have recently purchased my first Pontiac. The car is a 1962 Star Chief that was converted by the Cotner Bevington company into a combination car
(hearse/ambulance) Now I imagine that finding parts for a classic car can be difficult, in fact I have been finding some Pontiac specific parts for this is hard, but the hearse specific parts are even harder. Oy. But part finding will come in a different thread. As for what she is looking like now, The passenger fender has been replaced the floor pans have had the rust cleaned up and resealed. The interior has been gutted and the front end (bumper, grille, etc) is off the car. Need a radiator to see what the engine will do when fired up. Here is a picture, and I will see you around the boards.

welcome and quite an unusual car.

Unusual yes. And quite possibly from a production line of one. The coach builder that made it generally only converted oldsmobiles but would convert any chassis given to them. In all my research I haven't found another.
