Fix or replace door jamb areas ?

Looking for opinions. See two pics of door jambs. The passenger door jamb is worse than driver side. Other than these areas on the back panels the panels are clean. Should I fix these areas or should I cut these areas out and replace with new/clean door jambs? I can buy two door jambs for about $200 (total.) Is $200 fair? Thanks . . . JIMB

Actually the main problem is the door sills and the bottom of the door jams. It would be a cleaner job to replace the whole part as opposed to patching it.
