So, I got a bee up my rear about my poor looking stock seats, but because I'm on a budget, I can't afford to reuphoslter the stock seats. After doing some research, I discovered I can swap 95-99 Pontiac Sunfire/ Chevy Cavalier seats into a Fiero with no modifications at all. All I did was put the Fiero's stock seat brackets on to the Sunfire's seats using the stock Sunfire hardware. No drilling or modification of the brackets required.
These seats are far more comfortable for the slightly taller owner, as I have more leg room, and just a hair more head room, and I think they look great. (I would post a pic, but I'm on my phone only, so it won't work. Sorry. If you want one, I'll e-mail it.) All told, the swap cost me $20 for both seats at my local u pull it yard, and about an hour of my time. The only minor issue is they are a little wider than the stock seats, so ya have to fiddle a little to get em in, then they rub a little on the center console when adjusting, but thats all. E-brake still has clearance, as do the belts. Overall very happy with the seats, and I'd reccomend it to anyone wanting to be a little more comfy in their Fiero.
