Force start firebird with bad starter?

is this possible? its automatic. i read somthing about connecting the solenoid positive to the battery positive, but dont really understand it.

wats a solenoid?

AS your car is GM the solenoid is attached to your starter. It is a little 4 inch cylinder shaped attachment with wires going to it. Get a screw driver and connect your positive connection on your solenoid to the little wire on your solenoid. NO YOU CANNOT FORCE START A AUTOMATIC VEHICLE. good luck. Dont worry about getting electricuted... its only 12 volts.
