Formula Gear issues

My 1993 Firebird Formula LT1 is stuck in reverse and wont go in any other gear. it stays in reverse as you move the gear shifter (automatic) and stays in reverse automatically from where you crank it.

Look for a broken shift cable, or the linkage on the transmission. Hopefully it's just disconnected.
