All hoods on all years are the exact same. There is no difference in the size and shape of the hoods. The only difference is 2 foam rubber pads used to help hold the sunroof in place on sunroof optioned Fiero's.
If the hood was replaced, it just needs to be aligned properly. If you look at the front hinges you will see they have slotted holes. When re-aligning the hood you need to know some things. First there does have to be a gap in the front just under a 1/4". This is to clear a bolt head just under the center. If it is too close the center point of the hood will hit the bolt head and chip the hood. Open the hood and you will see it. The other thing is the headlight buckets are also adjustable. If they open fine now, and you re-align the hood, you may have to re-align the headlight buckets as well. (depends on how much the hood has to move.) It will take two people to align it. You can slightly loosen the bolts on the hinge, close hood and align it then with a long extension go from uner the car and tighten a bolt on each side. CAREFULLY open the hood and make sure it clears the front bolt head. If it does then tighten the rest of the bolts. Close hood and check headlight operation. If the front edge of the hood is higher or lower than the height of the front end you can loosen the vertical bolts and raise/lower as needed. Takes about 20 minutes to align it all.
If you have some plastic shims, you can set the panel gaps evenly all the way around the hood as well.
