If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi everybody, I'm Saal, south-west of France, 66, trying to find out what kind of AM is the one on the following pics...

the "nose", pretty wide, puzzles me...

pics were shot near Warzazat, Marroco, last year (30.922701,-7.232977)...

thanks...

best guess is a 1978 to 1980 LeMans but not knowing if this is an export model or a Canadian model could not come up with an exact match to the grille.

That nose on bumper is bit puzzling. Could be the Le Mans sport coupe's

Would a coupé present 4 doors (although, it's true, some automobile makers have offered four-door coupés...)?
As far as I found it in Morocco, might be some kind of export model...
I didn't see a single image of such a "nose" among all the Pontiac LeMans Sport Coupe you can meet on the net...

A coupe would be 2 doors, the car in the picture is a sedan.

Looks like could be a Pontiac Grand Lemans 4 doors (year?) which'd lost the outer part of its front bumper, couldn't be?

But did Pontiac built 4 doors Grand LeMans?

Looks to me like its a Pontiac Phoenix Sedan ( GM XBody chassis 77 -79)

and I believe Doug in P.R. wins the prize for correctly guessing the car in the photo! Thanks Doug. Phoenix would never have even entered my mind.

No problemo and Thanks Mel..........Only seen a couple in my lifetime and those were both coupes.

The angle of the photos play with the true length of it.

I guess you and Sal need to start a new Phoenix Sub-Forum.............................
