I have a 2001 sunfire and every time winter comes around my washer fluid freezes up even though I use winter formula. There is a crack in the hose that feeds the sprayers on the wipers and even after patching this it still freezes up. The only way to thaw it out is let the car sit after the engine has warmed up. I decided I would replace the hose and see if that helps, but so far I have been unable to locate a replacement hose other than getting regular hose in bulk. Any suggestions as to where I might find a new hose that has the connections for my wiper sprayers?

if it's just a rubber hose you buy the bulk hose cut to the length you need.
Are you putting straight washer fluid in the bottle or are you mixing it with water, use it undiluted.

check the rating on the bottle to make sure its rated for the temperature you encounter

I would use the bulk rubber hose but it doesn't have the connections with it to hook up the hoses in the wiper arms. As far as the fluid goes, I always use -20 (it rarely ever gets below -5 where I live) or lower even during the summer. I have also tried putting isopropyl alcohol in with it to lower the freezing point, but that just leaves my whole car smelling bad. I'm going to try calling the GM dealer tomorrow and see if they can help me track down a new hose that fits my car. I'm just not looking forward to the price tag it will probably have, but I know that is the price I have to pay sometimes.

Thanks for the suggestions but my sprayers on wiper arms themselves and they really aren't the problem. I'm trying to replace the hose that goes from pump to where is branches off to the wiper arms. I just didn't know if you guys knew where I could find the part number or some place to a replacement line that has the connectors on it for the hoses on the wiper arms.

I wish it was that easy but its not the sprayers that are the problem, plus the sprayers are actually mounted on the wiper arms with a little hose that connects to a fitting on the main line. The main line had a crack up near the front of the car so I went ahead and cut a section of the line out to take it in and match it up with the bulk stuff, but after I cut it, I realized that I still would need the connectors for the hoses on the wiper arms. That's when I decided it would just be best to get a hose that's actually made for my car and has the connectors on it. The only problem is that I can't locate one or even find a part number for it.

Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I just talked to the dealer and they were able to get the right hose for me. It cost me an outrageous $55 but after doing some checking, that's the going price for them.
