Fuel fuse PUMP Pontiac 1999 Grand Am?

Hello, When i want to turn my car on I cant hear the fuel pump so my car wont turn on, but when i tap the fuel pump fuse the pump turns on and the car turns on. Can that be the fuse or something else? i changed the fuse so i dont know...

Are you tapping on a fuse or a relay. If it's a relay it sounds like it needs to be replaced.
