fuel gauge adjustment

replaced my fuel tank on my 66 cat and got a new sending unit from Kanter
it doesn't read correctly full reads 3/4 is there any adjustment on the gauge?

no there isnt, unless you start tring to bend the arm. Did you contact Kanter?

I did call Kanter, they said send it back and they would replace it. That's nice but anyone that knows Pontiac realizes the sending unit is on the top of the tank, drain, remove and as far as bending the rod that would be a trial and error process. you would think you could buy a new product and expect it to work.

before installing the new one run a resistance test, I believe you have a 66, so should be zero ohms empty and 90 ohms full.
