My 2002 sunfire wouldn't start. I went under the hood and took out the fuel pump relay and replaced it with the air conditioning relay. (which are identical) It started right up. Since then it has been going daily. I went to the junk yard and got a bunch from old cars. There must be something causing these fuel pump relays to burn out. I am running out of spares! Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

clogged fuel filter causing the fuel pump to work harder and higher amp draw. or just a bad fuel pump
