Fuel smell in car when idling and heat is on

I have a 2000 pontiac sunfire 2.2L and anytime I am idling and have my heat on, I get a very strong gas smell leaking into my car. I was told the fuel injectors are fine.. so I don't know what else might be causing the smell? It is strong enough to give me a headache. I now have to turn my heat off when I stop at a light or anywhere else for any length of time.. Please help!

You have a fuel leak and should have it checked before it turns into a fire
