I've been helping my mother in law clean and sort through two large garages of her late husband's belongings. One such item is a 1974 Pontiac Le mans. I have some mechanical experience however it is with newer model vehicles, and I have very little knowledge of these older cars.
I was hoping for some tips on resources for discovering the value of the vehicle, so it can be sold to someone who will properly care for it.

It has an aftermarket stereo installed w/ amp in the glovebox, odo reads 36527. Body needs some work and rust repair.
I would love any thoughts or suggestions as to what to check or try, not sure if I should replace the gas and see if she fires or not.
