Grand AM Pontiac 2003 Car?

I have a Grand AM Pontiac year 2003. The knob of AC and Hot Air blower does not work in position 1 to 3 but works fine in 4 & 5. This means that no air comes out in positions 1 to 3.
Does anybody experienced this issue ?

the switch is bad.
