I am one of the dying breeds of caring folks that assume to fix things instead of throwing them out. I also used to mentor at-risk youth and I believe rehabbing old cars is a dying art much like many others in this throwaway era and I would love to add more skills that one can find on these forums to be able to eventually pass it forward.
