• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Got an '86 a week ago (5 speed no A/C but it had it once as the condensor and accumulator are present. Everything but the compressor) and drove it for a few days and really enjoyed it. Now it is up on the jackstands getting brought up to a higher level. New Temp/Fuel gauge combo, getting the parking brake to work (rebuilt the rear calipers), changing out the tape for a CD player, replacing instrument lights, a new water pump and trying to figure out the easiest way to have both temp controlled radiator fan w/manual switch too. Now has a manual switch only.
. . .One of these days I'll be driving it again.
I also plan to rework the pedals by moving the brake and clutch pedals about 3/4 in. to the left so my big feet can do the accelerator/brake job with my shoe on.
. . . I would appreciate and enlightenment (I need it) . . .chas.

Welcome to the forum but you dont state anywhere what model 86 you purchased?
