My wife has a 2009 torrent. In April she had the stabilitrak/tc/abs lights come on. We took to the shop and it was determined to be a throttle body issue which we then had replaced with a new gm tb. Got the car back and all seemed to run fine until two weeks ago. She had the same cluster of error codes show up but this time the car went into limp mode. Took to shop again and had full tune up done (air filter changed, plugs and wires replaced, and oil changed). Shop also checked the throttle body again and said it was not the culprit. The checked codes, which I believe they said were reading lean, and replaced a map sensor and I believe they checked o2 sensors as well. After 1.5 weeks they returned the car to us saying they couldn't figure it out but it's no longer throwing any codes. Started it up just fine and drove maybe 10 miles and the stabilitrak lights lit up again. After getting it home I tried cleaning the egr valve and maf sensor. Now it's still having trouble starting and still has a very rough idle. I've discovered that sometimes it helps to start if I hold gas pedal half way down when cranking bit even after start it idles very rough. Again, there are no more codes or check engine light showing which is making this much harder to diagnose. So far the only temporary solution I've found is that if i get the car running I can briefly stomp the gas to wot and it seems to run fine until it's shut off and restarted.
Sorry for the long winded post. Can anyone offer any ideas? I have some videos I can attempt to post when I get home to the computer if it would help. Thanks!
