• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Has anyone heard of this car parts broker?

I am looking for a door for my Pontiac and have posted such on a couple salvage yard lookup websites. Today I received a phone call from some sort of a broker
who "finds" parts and advised me that he had one in two locations, Chicago and Columbus Ohio. He sent me photos and my caller ID indicated a Chicago
number (773) 888 7795. Central City Auto Parts is mentioned in his email and the message states that this place is a trusted carparts.com seller. His email
came from "srautoparts@gmail.com." The photos were enticing but I know there are scammers galore waiting for desperate suckers to fleece so I want to be
careful. Has anyone ever heard of these folks?

One in Columbus,OH is not a junkyard, the one in Central Square , NY is......do a BBB or Yelp search on them...

Make sure your payment method is secure, a credit card.

Thanks Doug and melsg5. I've ruled this guy/outfit out; there's just too many weird things that I have researched that just don't add up.
Too many holes. Too many unverifiable details. Last thing I want to do is turn over a credit card to some guy for a $300 door that
never comes but he runs up $5000 in charges at Best Buy before evaporating. Too many of these scumbags around, for sure.

Thanks for the recommendation Oldpont. I found exactly what I wanted at another salvage yard and, in fact, it's being loaded
on a truck on Monday. However I will certainly keep CC Auto Ranch in my notes for future needs I may have.
