I put new head gaskets on but I think I placed one head bolt in the wrong location because I am having trouble getting the Alternator mount on.

1998 Montana -
On the rear head (Cylinder 1) does the special head bolt that has threads coming out of the top about 1 inch go in the hole farthest to the passenger side on cylinder 1 or the hole in one location (again from the passenger side it would be the next hole in) ? I think this is my mistake. I placed the bolt in the farthest location toward the passenger side and I think I need it in one.

Next question, if I move these bolts around - will I be ok with re-retourqing? My guess is at this point, I don't have a choice?

ANy help would be appreciated.

I think I have solved this issue. Many others on the internet have also been confused as it relates to this special bolt that comes in the Felpro Kit. After looking at the pictures I took, and looking at my notes and looking at the old bolts I removed - I determined that this special bolt with threads coming out the top is NOT used on the 1998 Model 3.4L Montana. The only special/unique bolt is in the front head passenger side next to water pump.
