Headers for 78 TA w/ 400 pontiac engine

I'm considering installing headers on a 78 TA with a pontiac 400 engine w/ factory 4 spd. I heard there were clearance issues with some brands. Anyone have any input?

Try looking at Hooker and Hedman on www.summitracing.com. Make sure you check the manufacturers website for any comments concerning fitment issues.

ITS A VERY TIGHT FIT!!!! i believe mine are hooker headers, i have a bout half inch clearance on the drivers side frame and about an 1.5 inch on passangers. my set up is 400 3 speed in an 81 TA
