Headlight issue

When I run my high beams they will run for about 8 minutes then start flickering on and off. I have to switch to low for steady light. I switch back to high and they will stay on for about 2 minutes then start flickering again. Its a major concern because there are a lot of deer in the roads at night and I do like to drive "slightly" above the speed limit on the smooth curvey back roads I travel I can't figure out what the problem is and neither can various Fiero mechanics at the Fiero stores I buy parts from. Anyone ever experience this too?

Sounds like a relay failing or circuit breaker.

I am guessing the Fiero is a 1987 or a 1988?
If it is, there is a control module under the driver side fender. This module could be going bad.
Other things to look at (Includes 1984 thru 1986 Fiero's)
Corroded connector(s)
Corroded or bad relay
Bad switch in steering column
