Hey all. Brand new to the forum.

GF has a 04 GT, and we can't get the heater to blow warm or hot. AC works. All speeds work, and all modes work, but it wont get warm. If we turn the AC off, it will blow air the ambient temperature. She did let the coolant get low, and I filled it up about a week ago. Possibly an air bubble formed in the system?

Here's what I have done:
Hoses to the heater core are both hot to the touch. Same temp too.
All fuses are intact.

Pulled the knob off the temperature control switch and the relay itself seems loose. Maybe that's it?

Has anyone had this problem, and what could I do to figure out what the hell is going on?

And also, where is and how do I get to the blend door actuator?

you need to bleed the air out of the system should be air bleed on thermostat housing. Check for a cooling system leak. Blend door is under dash.

Found the blend door actuator.

Bled the system, nothing but coolant came out. I also checked the continuity of the wires leading to the blend door. All were fine. The switch is very lose on the control panel, so I am going to replace that first.

Found out there are no vac lines to the actuator...it's all electric. If the new control panel doesn't fix it, I will replace the actuator.

Any other thoughts?

if the heater core is getting hot than it has to be related to the blend door or it's controlling switch.

under the dash board

We had the same problem. Found it to be the damn pink anti-freeze/coolant had turned to jelly in the heater core. Pulled both heater hoses rinsed out with the hose water, and viola, never better results.
