• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I recently bought a '66 Catalina convertible that had been stored in a garage for over 30 years. I have it running and the mechanicals seem to be pretty good. Will eventually need to replace the gas tank but it can be used for now.

The car had been hit in the left side years ago and I didn't like the repairs so I bought a reproduction quarter panel skin from a company out of Michigan. Very poor quality and I am not sure I am going to use it. It looks like it was formed from a brake and I probably could have done just a good. I might be able to use it for patch panels but as the whole skin I think it's junk. I also found a door shell in California and plan to order it today.

I have done the research and realize there aren't many reproduction parts for these cars. I need some sources for parts.

I have to replace the top and those are readily available but it seems that upholstery is supported for a 2+2 car and not regular bench seat cars.

I will be posting in the Catalina forum asking for parts sources.

Thanks for having a forum available for these cars.

welcome to the forum and thanks for signing up. Have you tried www.amesperf.com for parts ?

Sounds good challenges on getting decent parts, hope you get good leads here. Welcome
