• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Bizzarley

I am new to this forum. I have been a member of the Grand Am Registry for several years. I own a 1978 Grand Am, with a 400 in it that has been bored thirty over. I also put in a mid-size cam. It also has a turbo 350 transmission with a shift kit. I can sure scare the crap out of a lot of these little ricers.

The car originally had a 301 in it. I rebuilt it at 185,000, and then pulled it out at 303,000. The 400 has 38,000 miles on it now.

I use it as a daily driver. The only trouble I have is the fact that I have to put high test in it and the price of gas has almost doubled since I put the 400 in. Oh well, the price of our toys.....
