I have a 2005 Sunfire 5 speed. Had shop replace motor and clutch, I originally parked it for a couple months cuz the motor took a crap and finally took it in to get fixed and noticed it was difficult to put into first and at times couldn't get it into it. I really have no idea why it wont. It goes into every gear but first, and only way I can get it into first is wiggling it in neutral over n over n over again and I get lucky once in awhile and it engages. IT is very frustrating! Any help or leads is much appreciated! Thanks!
