G'day guys

I'm considering buying this pontiac,it's being sold as a trans am 1975.however through trying to find out anything about it through google,i am led to believe the 75 trans am is only available as a 2 door?

sorry for the ignorance,pontiacs arent very common in australia

I guess you misread it, it states its a Grand AM, it has nothing to do with any type of Firebird. I recommend you stay away from it because even in this country you will be hard pressed to find parts for the body.

If you know much about them,are they reliable to run generally? body panels aren't too much of an issue as i can fabricate those myself.

Generally yes, but obviously like with anything mechanical it depends on how well they were maintained. Mechanical components for engine/transmission/rear end/suspension are still readily available in the states. Make sure you or someone else checks it out before buying it.
