help me on my 1995 se ....2 door and still stock

:p iight i have 1995 pontiac se..... loli know i have the most shitty motor in it.... i have the 2.8 liter quad 4 ....dual over head cams..... ok i am goin to give alil history of it.... i am the second owner... i paid $1500..... it had 131,ooo when i bought it.... 10 months after i bought it the water pump when and blew out my head gasket.... and i had to fix other minor stuff.... i just have questions on what can i do with the car..... i mean i like to stick some nice 2002 gt rims on it.... but i am told by all my friends that are into rice and the rustang ones.... i mean i would love to super charge it or nos... something that i have i can race in my area...... so if you have any suggestion on what i can do with my car .... i would love the help!!!!!:p
 
honestly man i wouldnt want to risk adding major bolt-ons to an engine with that many miles on it unless u have the dough to spend on another motor. But if ur wantin just some extra power to play with u can alway go with an air intake system and a free flowin exhaust. Maybe get some good spark plugs,wires and ignition coils. good luck tho man
 
hey thanks for the ideas.... i was thinking about dumpin v6 in the car..... but i wanna nos it...lol but i am afriad that the paint and doors will fall off.....i mean i like to make it look better then stock but i don't wanna add the rice fukkin body kit.... i wanna make it that i can race it..... i deff. goin to make it stick.... but the area i live in it's hard to find sht for my car....everything seems to be stock nothing aftermarket.... lol

Good luck with finding parts. Since the car's already ten years old, they'll likely be harder to find as time goes on. For performance, you may wish to go with an engine rebuild (if you can have the car off the road for any length of time that is). There should be sites that have more information on engine specs and recommendations that would wake it up. As for body parts, rims, etc...good for show, but won't do much for the speed you want other than take dollars away from the engine. Go for speed first, if I'm reading your posts correctly.

iight thank you so much for the info on the fact of what to make faster..... i know there's the 4 cyclinder in it.... i have the 6v to go in the car for a good motor swap.... but i have to get the new computer and eletric shit to change all over ...... so for now thgat i can drive it again and get rid of this p.o.s that i have been driving....... see i would love to make my car a street legal drag......come on how many times do you a grand am drag lol .... i jut wannna be different with mine..... but i don't wanna rice it out ....lol like the aluminium wings .....lol..... i am just lookin to add a grand am wing .... when i change the rims.... i would like to stick 2002 gt rims..... so i am pretty much goin for speed but at the same time the car has to look goood......oh i grew up in philly myself.....now i live near pottstown
 
well my first car was a 95 GP w/ the 3.1L V6, it was a reliable motor but only mods i could really find for it was an air filter, exhaust, plugs, wires, and coils. It was actually a strong runnin engine after all that. My mom had a 97 cobra at the time ass well. We raced 1 time and i actually out ran her! She says it was because there was another car in front of her but i know that my car was actually a pretty quick ride. So what im sayin is if u want a motor that has a good aftermarket base, id go with either the 3.4 v6 or the 3.8 then u could supercharge it:)
