i just recently purchased a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire and have been having some issues with the car. My oil light comes on only when the car is warm and below 1500rpm and if i take my foot off the gas so it sits at what should b a normal idol speed you start to hear lifter hit the valve cover then the car stalls.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

have you checked the oil level when cold? what weight oil are you using and when did you last change the oil? do you have a check engine light on? how many miles on the engine?

You might have a bad oil pump. My pump went out in.my 98 cavi and siezed the motor. Good luck getting to the pump. Lots a crap in the way
