body straight. im going to fix it , some of the list is preventative maintenance. some are needed. keep in mind it passed a pressure test on the head gasket however the following leakage was found.. but it was observed the weep hole was wet. water pump. it was also noted that above vehicle has a leak in radiator. all four cylinders have equal and fall in the comp test parameters. the drive line is good. tranny checks out good all was flushed 5 years ago. i decided than rather get hocked up into another car loan, it would be worth this investment. if you have anything i missed please say so. of course new tires and alignment. im unsure what to do with the struts yet...any ideas.

i bet ill get at least 4 more years. also a bad azz stereo blasting ZZtop.

where did you find the term "conversion set/kit"? It might give a clue as to what it is.

That is a long list ,why you doing the timing chain and associated parts ? Also did you price check rock auto they seem to have good prices,if you want to stay with ac delco then the cheapest I found is gm parts direct .

hell if i know, its available at pep boys as are all the rest of the parts. easier that way. its made by fel pro. im thinking it is a replacement timing cover . ill look at it before hand. apparently from what im told it was a defective seal on the original timing cover. they are notorious for leakage there. and the sleeve and seal is a hard to find part. it specifically says so on the p.o. it says without seal and sleeve. this might be what they meant. but ill look at all the parts while i buy them. the part number is fpg.cs 9469.

im doing the timing components as a preventative measure. and since i live in puerto rico. its my best bet. to buy direct. locally.

the conversion set in the lower end gasket kit that will have the timing cover and oil pan gaskets, front and rear seals.

yup and a steel sleve that slips over the crank shaft to stop the leaks.. it works.
