Hesitant start. '06 Torrent AWD

When I start my Torrent it hesitates. It will start normal then sounds like it has cut off but then starts to idol fine sometimes it does cut off and when I try to start it again it will only cut on if I pump the gas and end up reving the engine. I've had a fuel system flush but not the fuel filter changed. Not sure what it could be. Any suggestions? TIA.

is the check engine light on? How many miles on the fuel filter? How many miles on the air filter? Has the throttle body ever been cleaned?

I bought it used so I'm not sure of the fuel filter. It has 150,000 miles. No check engine light.

well if you dont know the maintenance history, you have to start with a basic tuneup, fuel filter, air filter,plugs, clean throttle body, etc.

My '06 does the exact same thing. Throttle body has been cleaned but I think it is the original fuel filter...

Seems to do it less often if I use fuel injector cleaner periodically though.
