• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hey everybody,

Just got my first car six months ago, a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire. My folks have owned a 98 Sunfire for over five years and it runs beautifully. So far mine is following suit and I'm loving it.
 
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the board. It's a good source for info (especially 427HemiPontiac, who is really good on engines. We have 3 Ponchos here and other than the '77 Trans Am (which is being - slowly - worked on) haven't had too many issues - and no large ones. Sounds like your parents have had the same success story.:o
