I´d like to introduce myself. My name is Markus, I´m from Austria/Europe and I have a 64´ Pontiac Bonneville Sports Coupe.
Some previous owner from the USA replaced the 389/Hydramatic by a 79´ 301/Th200 metric for an unknown reason.
Last year I built a mild 400cui engine last year connected to a B&M Th350, to wake the old lady up.
Unfortunately the tranny quit after less than 1000mls. So I recently built a Th700. Hopefully this one will last a little longer!!!
At the moment I´m changing the rear gears form 2.56 to 3.43.
Since Pontiacs are everything but common here in Austria, I´m looking forward to get some valuable infos here!
