hi i am from iraq i have pontiac grand prix se 1994 3.1v
i have a proplem when i turn on the air conditioners the car engine be over loud
but if i trun off air conditioners the engine be very very good
if you can help me i wait your answer thank you very much

Uhh yeah it's call the air conditioning fan that kicks on when you turn your A/C on. And it's not the engine lol. But then again the grand prix's are known to have problems with their air conditioners but more than likely it sounds like the A/C fan that kicks on and the older model of cars tend to have louder fans under the hood than newer cars. If you still think its something else please add aditional information that describes the situation in a little more detail

Any time you run the air conditioner in that car, the electric radiator fan kicks on to keep it from overheating. That's probably what you are hearing. You can't and shouldn't do anything about it.
