I've had HID's in my 2008 pontiac torrent since I purchased it new. Of course I've had problems previously, since GM and aftermarket HID's dont agree with eachother, but I am now stumped on my current issue.
My left headlight is unreliable at night (fuse is fine, and works fine as a DRL), no problems with the right HID. Tonight, I remote started the torrent, (also aftermarket install over 3 years ago), and my HID headlights would not turn on AT ALL. Fuses are checked, bulbs checked, and they worked fine as DRL's earlier in the day, then worked fine one hour prior to leaving work tonight...
Any ideas?
I've purchased a new set from DDM tuning as Ive chosen again buying the China made bullshit any longer and will be transferring those in as soon as they arrive, but i feel that this is more than just a ballast problem.
