High school kid without lots of money. What can I do to my 89 firebird to

make it faster? I have an 89 firebird with the 305 v8. What can I do to it to make it faster? kinda on a tight budget so nothing outrageous... Thanks a lot.

thats not really a performance engine and there are no cheap ways to get more power. You can try a performance exhaust system which will at least make the car sound some what better

Replace the stock exhaust manifolds with headers. Put 3.42 gears in the rear end. That will help you out a lot.
