I had my heater replaced a few months ago, and as soon as it was returned to me, I noticed a hissing noise when using the heat/air conditioning/vent. Usually the noise is only audible when on the higher air settings (3-4), and it doesn't hiss when going through the defrost vents. I don't know much about cars, but I assumed it was just some loose connection that I could fix when I got around to it. However, I'm not finding much online when it comes to repairs like this and I'm now living 15 hours from where this repair was done. Any ideas what the problem is or how to fix it?

Sounds like a vacuum line is disconnected assuming you dont smell anything sweet and have not lost any coolant.
