Hood open

Hi I’m getting a hood open message on my 2009 Torrent I’ve already ordered a new hood latch but wondering if there’s any other glitches I should be considering.

Yes it has a electrical connection and I’ve tried unplugging and plugging it hood open message still on . Just bought a new hood latch and problem fixed .
