Hood question

Hello I recently bought a 72 lemans and was wondering if a hood from a 68-70 gto will fit on my car. Thanks!

The hood design is different on 68 to 70 versus 71 to 72. The front edge of the 71 to 72 is straight the 68 to 70 bulges up in the center.

Alright thanks cause someone told me that it will fit and I just wanted to make sure. Guess I'm stuck with this stock hood.

why dont you get the 71 - 72 hood?

I was told the nose on a 71-72 gto is different then the regular lemans and that the hood won't fit.

I believe you are correct, looks like the nose on the GTO extends differently than the LeMans. Only thing you could do is go for a complete GTO nose.

Yeah I wasn't really trying to go for a complete clone I just like the scoops. Oh well I'll have to think it over. Thanks for the help.
