How can I get more HP for my 2000 firebird 3.8L V6

Hi, I'm new to the forum as I have just recently purchased a 2000 firebird 3.8L from a friend with around 77k miles and in great condition. I will be driving it daily and was just wondering what mods I can make to gain extra HP without going overboard (supercharger, NOS, etc.). It is currently equipped with a dual flowmaster exhaust and a high performance cat. Any insight would be great, Thanks.

I was told that Pacesetters are not great quality and are subject to leaking, correct me if I am wrong. I did a little research and came to find that Clear Image Auto's headers were the most reliable and produced high gains but are also one of the newer headers on the market for a 3.8L. Do you have any knowledge on them?
