How do I change out the blown headlamp on my 2001...

...Pontiac Grand Am ? My service vehicle soon light is on and I believe this is why. Could it just be a blown fuse and if so how do I know which one without going to a repair shop. I need to save money, what should I do ?

Your service vehicle soon lamp may not have anything to do with the headlamp being out ..
you should see an access panel near the headlamp assembly where you can lift the panel out of the way and get to the bulb it twists out and pulls back ..
reverse to install the wire just unplugs from the lamp end..
