ok so, I have a 2002 pontiac grand am. My air conditioning and radio do not work. The fan does work but only when it is set to 5. NONE of the lights for that whole radio air conditioning unit come on. and my lighter still works. ALL the fuses and relays were tested and they all appear to be working. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix it?

I have a 1999 pontiac grand am and the same thing happened to it a while back. The air conditioner doesn't work unless it's set to 4 or above and only blows warm air out. I had it charged a while back but two days later it broke again. Now it's been a few years and it sucks roasting to death and constantly having to drive with my windows down every summer. I didn't know what else to do so, I just let it go I feel your pain. lol My radio lights won't come on but the radio works. I just can't tell what station it's on or the time. My dad took it somewhere to get fixed one time and they said that it happens in these cars and usually the only thing you can do is buy a whole new radio. I figured it wasn't worth it just to have the light but I don't know. Sorry, I'm probably not much help.

as far as the radio lights now working, its better u just buy a new head unit. the a/c/heater issue blowing on 4 or above...there is a resistor for the motor located under the dash on the pass. side. its like a $20 part from GM

My fan doesn't work unless it is on 3, or above. My cigarette lighter doesn't work, dash lights do not come on, and floor lights do not come on. If I put a fuse in the spot for the accessory/lighter it blows it immediately. Any good idea why?
