Code Explanation indicates bad EGR Valve, Replaced it, still throwing the code. EGR wires look good. The car will not rev over 2500 rpm, and will not go over 35mph. When driving the car will not accelerate very much, it seems like the RPM's can't get high enough to shift it into the next gear. Please Help

sounds like your fuel filter or the Cat is plugged. Inspect your filter by removing it and trying to blow through it. if you can blow through it fairly easy then it ok if you can barely blow through it replace it and road test. If the filter is OK then start looking at the converter If the cat converter plugs up it works like an exhaust brake and can set an EGR code check your exhaust back pressure to see if this is your problem. If your mechanically include drop the exhaust just in front of the cat support the exhaust system so it does not drag on the ground and go for a short road test. It will be loud but if you get your power back then its your cat replace it?

Did you get a shop to clear the code after you replaced the egr valve?
