How do I get access to the blower motor (I think that's what it's

called) of my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire? It's making this strange noise, almost like a card stuck in a bicycle wheel, and someone told me it could be a leaf. The heat AND air both work fine, I just need to figure out the cause of the noise. If it's only a leaf, I want to get it out. Thanks for any help!

The motor will be bolted to the firewall, usually on the inside. Trace the air vents back, until you find a box like structure, you will feel the motor running when you have your hand on it. Not always an easy part to get out, as its usually the first thing installed on production line.

On mine (97) it is in front of the glove box under the dash. It has 3 bolts that hold it in. Hope this helps.
